Adri-Mari Vilonel

The concept of establishing Harmony House / Harmony Yoga came to light when Adri-Mari spent 6 weeks in Bali, immersing herself in yoga practice and teaching. She is a qualified yoga teacher, registered with the international yoga professional organization Yoga Alliance.

Adri-Mari has a successful business background and explored yoga over many years as a support to bring balance to her life, health in body and mind. Her personal growth path led her through initially the traditional university and corporate route. Being a mother and partner enriched her family life. She has done extensive international traveling quenching her thirst for adventure. She has studied alternative healing practices and is now fully entrenched in exploring the internal world.

“The time has come for me to offer back to the world what I have received in abundance – I have found my purpose in life to supporting others on their paths to self-discovery, harmonising body, mind and spirit.”

Adri-Mari is known for her compassion and ability to inspire and build confidence regardless of one's age or yoga experience. She has a keen eye for precise alignment and provides adjustments that are beneficial to each individual - knowing when to encourage clients to work harder and the wisdom to hold them back when they've had enough. Over and above offering group classes at Harmony House, Adri-Mari is involved in various Corporate Yoga programs and private individual classes.

Dale de Klerk

Close your working week with yoga with Dale on Friday afternoons at 16h30.

Dale first stepped into a yoga class 14 years ago and knew there was something life-changing about to happen.

"In 2010 I was diagnosed with Colon Cancer and I noticed my yoga breathing came instinctively to support my healing. I didn't experience nausea or much pain or discomfort and almost felt like a fraud for feeling so well while going through chemotherapy. I had to find out more about yoga! I did my first teacher training in Vinyasa Flow selfishly for me as i had not planned to teach, but once completed I had to share the gift of yoga with as many people as I could. I then also completed a second teacher training in Kemetic yoga last year. I can't wait to share this joy and gift of yoga with you!!” ~ Dale

Dale now also guides the mid week Wednesday evening yoga practice at 18h00.

Karen Brink

Tuesdays late afternoon / evenings with yoga by Karen Brink at the 17h30 is just what you need to close the workday off.

My yoga journey started in 2004 at the age of 17 when I attended a Vinyasa yoga class at a gym. Karen fell in love with yoga from the first time she stepped on the mat, and knew she wanted to be a teacher and to share this amazing power with the world.

"It has made me grow spiritually and the effect that yoga had on me was life-changing. I wanted more!! So I attended workshops, did some research and tried as many styles as I could, but still came back to my true love: Vinyasa. As soon as I had an almost daily practice and I believed that I had gained enough knowledge, I started teaching friends and family. Word got out and in 2009 I had quite a handful of students."

Karen is a certified Vinjasa yoga teacher, as well as Air Yoga and Kids Yoga teacher

Dide Hooper

For Dide(Dee), Yoga is life, with endless meaning and definition.

“If practiced authentically, Yoga is a mirror, a reflection of one's essential self and intrinsic quality”

Dee is originally from Turkey and found her home in South Africa. After graduating from a performing arts college, studying full time music/piano, she followed her dancing spirit for about three years in Cape Town.

Yoga found her after giving birth to her first child and hasn’t left her mat for any extended period since then. She qualified as a yoga teacher and found yoga to be a portal through which she hopes to teach others how to experience the best of themselves and how to be in the here, now.

Ashtanga Yoga

Why Yoga?

Physical and mental cleansing, and strengthening is one of yoga’s most important achievements. What makes it so powerful and effective is the fact that it works on the holistic principles of harmony and unification.

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built.” ~Rumi
